In October, in conjunction with ViaPath Foundation, a supporter of Reading Legacies, we had the privilege of welcoming author Jessie D. Mabrey to promote her book Jaylane as she continues touring throughout the country. During her J.D.’s live reading, she shared the story of Jaylisa is facing certain challenges but through the experience finds connection, hope, and comes to understand that she isn’t as alone as she once thought she was. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside J.D. and look forward to collaborating with her in the future!
