During our Board Meeting in April we were honored to welcome Evan Bridgham (Manager of Community Engagement – Office of Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer) on behalf of the County Board of Supervisors who presented us a County Proclamation in recognition of Reading Legacies joining the Live Well San Diego initiative as a Recognized Partner.
In late 2024 (December) we were notified by the Live Well San Diego staff that our application to become a Recognized Partner was approved (pending an orientation and partner ‘on-boarding’ that needed to be completed to finalize the process. Following that we worked with Erik Martin (County of San Diego HHSA – Child and Family Well-Being – Office of Administration/Policy) to complete the necessary steps and join the nearly 600 other organizations working together to ensure that all San Diego County residents: Build Better Health, Live Safely, and Thrive!
